Child's Play 4: Chucky's Revenge (In Place of Bride of Chucky)

Just in case the judges don't know who the characters are from the prior 3 movies, here is a brief summary:

Chucky: The killer Good Guy doll and main antagonist in the Child's Play series.

Charles Lee Ray: The serial killer from the original Child's Play who used a voodoo spell to put his soul into the Chucky doll before his death.

Ben: Ben is an original character who is a serial-killer fanatic who resurrects Chucky and becomes his accomplice for a short time until Chucky murders him.

Andy Barclay: Andy was the main protagonist of the first three films. He managed to kill Chucky in the third film by throwing him into a giant fan.

Kristin De Silva: Kristin was a student that attended the military school with Andy in Child's Play 3. She served as his main love interest in the film.





Plot:

Set a few months after Chucky's murder, the film follows a serial-killer fanatic named Ben who has recently become obsessed with the story of Charles Lee Ray. Determined to resurrect his fallen hero, he has practiced the art of voodoo and managed to salvage Chucky's remains. After stitching Chucky back together and successfully resurrecting him, Ben demands to become Chucky's accomplice and offers to help him enact his revenge on Andy Barclay. Chucky, after committing strings of murders with Ben, gets greedy and decides to murder Ben and track Andy down himself, who is living in a quiet suburban town with his wife Kristin De Silva.

KA-BOOM! Helen Shivers, her co-hosts, and cast let out a big sigh of relief. They managed to survive a massive explosion that left everyone in the movie theater dead.

As they are standing around in the darkened ally behind the theater among the rats, dumpsters, and popcorn kernels they see a darkened vehicle approaching.

Three masked men get out with guns! They start rapid firing into the terrified group of 20. Everyone splits up and runs for their lives. This is the last time the group was all together.

Father Merrin who is elderly and unable to move quickly instantly fell to the ground and pretended to be dead. Chloe Carter, who didn’t want to leave anyone behind crouched behind the dumpster and watched the events unfold. Robbie Mercer, not wanting to leave the attractive Chloe called out her name and began to run over to her but as he was running. 3 bullets ripped through him.

First Death: Robbie Mercer
Cause of Death: 3 bullet holes to the chest

As Ghostface is running away with Sidney Prescott he realizes this is his chance to get away with murder. He shoves her hard to the ground and down she goes. He jumps on her back and continuously smashes her face into the ground over and over again.

Second Death: Sidney Prescott
Cause of Death: Ghostface smashing her face to the point where her brains have oozed out onto the blacktop parking lot.
Time of Death: 10:04 PM

Gale Weathers notices what Ghostface did to Sidney Prescott and runs up to Ghostface kicks him hard in the crotch. Ghostface being very sensitive died immediately which shocked Gale Weathers. She immediately left the scene.

Thomas Burke was among the group at the theater and using his police background he jumped into his squad car and made his way back around to the scene of the gunman. The gunman heard the sirens and they jumped into their van and left.

Thomas surveyed the scene and called for the ambulance.  Unfortunately he noticed Margaret White lying face up with blood covering her white shirt, and running down her legs.

Fourth Death: Margaret White
Cause of Death Bleeding to death; bullet hitting a main artery.

Thomas Burke hears Father Merrin cry out at the scene of the crime. He rushes over to him. Chloe Carter begins crying and joins them. Together, Chloe and Thomas help Father Merrin into the squad car and drive to the local police department. Along the way they see Chloe’s best friend, Allison Argent and she joins the group at the police station.

[The group overlooked social outcast Anya Jenkins and and Willow Rosenberg who were also shot. Anya and Willow did not try to flee. Instead they began to pray for the murderers.

Kirby Reed sees the group driving away and immediately rolls her eyes. She is over this whole night. Her spa appointment got interrupted and she has the salon owner on speed dial, so she demands he open up the steam room so she can detox and forget this night even happened. As Kirby Reed is sitting there she began thinking about the events that transpired and like Helen Shivers who she is jealous of, fainted. The temperature valve malfunctioned making it 250 degrees F. Kirby Reed was rushed to the hospital once found, but was pronounced dead before arriving.

Cause of Death: Being “Steamed Alive”
Time of Death: 10:31PM

Around this same time Bill Murray decides to remove all memory of this night and heads off to his favorite comedy club. He has had quite a few drinks, performed his best stand-up routine to date and begins laughing. And laughing. And laughing. As he is taking another swig, his throat begins to swell up, his eyes water, and he chokes out one last laugh.

Damon Brooks and Kevin Fischer ended up leaving the scene of the crime together. They decide to return to Kevin’s house as it is located closer (but still over 1.5 hours away) to the theater. Damon traveled to meet the group from out of town. What Damon doesn’t realize is that Kevin is somewhat of an “online bully.” Earlier in the day Kevin threatened his online nemesis to  “COME TO MY HOUSE AND WE WILL PROVE WHO IS THE BETTER MAN.” Well, this other man turned out to be a woman and was waiting for Kevin and Damon with his pair of throwing knives. Damon didn’t even have time to utter a word before the knife went straight through his throat and essentially pinned him up against the wall.

Kevin is stunned. He tries to say a few words about “taking it easy.” However it was too late as he had angered a severely psychotic PMSing woman. She began throwing her knives into Kevin. Then running toward him, gathering the knives and throwing them again, over and over.

Cause of Death: 69 Knife wounds
Time of Death: 11:27 PM

Erin and Dean were the other “pair” who left the movie theater together. They were only at the movie to make-out since Dean is totally obsessed with doing whatever Erin would like. Since their date night was ruined, they decided to head to the local hotel. They waited and waited in the lobby for the room to be cleaned and being impatient they went back to their car and did the deed. What they failed to realize is that by leaving their car running, carbon monoxide was filling  the car. Breahting heavy, Erin realized this at the exact moment that Tommy Doyle was finalizing the finishing touches on ensuring that the car doors would not open. Erin screams then dies, Tommy smiles and Dean cries, as Tommy walks away from a car with two dead people.

Meanwhile back at the police station, Thomas, Allison, Chloe, and Father Merrin begin to think about the group of people that were gathered at the theater for Helen Shivers. It becomes quite clear there are many “bad” sorts of people and dangerous individuals. These four notice the police scanner and begin to see the deaths of others in the theater. The four vow to stick together and stay alive!

Gale Weathers is on the run after killing Ghostface. She is nervous and doesn’t know what to do. Her only friend and roommate (after all they are always on the same block…nomination block that is ;)is nowehere to be found. But Gale must tell someone! So she heads back to her apartment after crying in the  nearby park.

On her way back, she sees Tommy Doyle and calls out to him! Tommy comes over to her. They compare what they have seen. Both lying about the deaths of Ghostface, Erin, and Dean, and agree to head back to Gale’s place to see if Jessica turned up.

Sure enough Jessica was home! Tommy smirks and tells the ladies it has been nice knowing them. He pulls the light cord out of its socket and begins to fry Jessica who is screaming and having the veins pop out of her body.

Thirteenth Death: Jessica Pierson
Cause of Death: Electrocution
Time of Death: 12:01 AM

Tommy begins to turn the cord toward Gale but she lunges out of the way. Tommy realizes she must die or it will be him! He races toward her and punches her as hard as he can right in her heart. Gale’s heart begins to falter and all life goes out of her body.

Cause of Death: Heart malfunction
Time of Death: 12:03 AM

Tommy smiles again as he realizes he has successfully killed 4 people. 2 on Halloween Eve, and 2 on Halloween itself. He races out of their apartment and rushes out to the street to catch a cab. Thinking about how happy is he and not paying attention he gets hit by a car, he staggers backwards and hits another car. And then gets steamrolled by the night bus..

Fifteenth Death: Tommy Doyle
Cause of Death: The Night Bus
Time of Death 12:06 AM Halloween Day

More and more calls keep coming into the police station and Chloe/Allison begin to realize their seems to be an inevitable death sentence on all of them. Police HDQ are being attacked all over the city and their seems to be a riot outside the station. Chloe attempts to warn Father Merrin but Thomas laughs off their warning. Just as Chloe/Allison step outside the whole police station blows.

Sixteenth & Seventeenth Death: Thomas Burke and Father Merrin
Cause of Death: Explosion
Time of Death: 2:35 AM

KA-BOOM! Chloe is thrown off balance and hits her head hard on the sidewalk. Once she finally opens her eyes she looks over to try to find Allison. Allison’s lifeless body is right beside her totally burned and charred.

Eighteenth Death: Allison Argent
Cause of Death: Flying flames and explosives
Time of Death (as viewed by Chloe): 4:14 AM

Chloe struggles to stand-up and slowly makes her way across the parking lot. In the distance she sees Helen Shivers up ahead just sitting quietly on the bridge and watching. Chloe heads over to her lovely host and begins to inquire why all of this is happening. Helen tells her this was her plan all along and that everyone must die. She congratulates Chloe on winning her game but warns that now she must die, as only one pretty blonde can survive. Chloe having de ja vu says “YOU CANNOT HAVE ME!” and jumps off the bridge. Leaving Helen shocked and yelling after Chloe, I was only joking!!! You were the winner and true duel survivor!

Nineteenth Death: Chloe Carter
Cause of Death: Suicide/jumping off the bridge
Time of Death: 4:30 AM

This is where our story ends. The final destination. Some say Helen was a figure of people’s imagination, others say they can hear Chloe crying out among the rocks. No one knows who truly lived or how our survivor lived to pass on these events. But someone did and this was their tale.

So knew I was going to lose that. Why did I waste my time lmfao.

Tara, can we please have some 7 PM eastern challenge going forward? We haven't had any of them so far and awhile back you posted alluding to this as a potential time.
